A mysterious man from the north with an incomprehensible secret to most mortal minds. He knows all that was and seems to understand well what will be, though his foresight isn’t as perfect as his knowledge from time’s creation and before. He is seemingly able to warp the very fabric of Minera’s Breath to his will, able to transpose spells greater and more complex than any other spellcasters alive. Stoic in his behaviour, charisma can come to him at will when required, and when no one else will be a leader he steps up. He does his best to preserve the lives of all, and when that fails he blesses the soul to the afterlife as though he were a devout paladin or cleric rather than a stoic wizard.
After the Migration of Men to the world of Minera, Tharador’s soul disappeared for eons. Unknown to all, including his own children, Tharador had wandered his continent in secret, guised as many people throughout the ages. Most favourably he took the form of an Elven illusionist, content in telling fairy tales and creating magic shows for children and commoners who had never seen Minera’s Breath before. This was until he traveled to Mayreth in the third century of the Third Era. There he saw constant struggle, brought on by endless raids from Alimrothi better than the people there. Thus he aimed to bring magic to them, though cast off quickly in his elven form. Thus he intended to raise himself as one of them, infusing part of his soul into a human fetus, aiming to grow with his penchant for magic and have all Mayrethians follow this child’s lead.
This was the birth of Aaron Drafthold, and though he retained much of his own mind and knowledge, Tharador was physically limited by the human mind and shell. Emotions he had never felt before would creep within him, defeating his own divine logics. Finally after twelve years Aaron could conjure The Breath, and bind it to his will. Though as he matured his parents grew concerned, seeking guidance from a Grand Wizard from Brightstone. When the wizard suspected Aaron to have sorcerous origins, perhaps being imbued with a Divine Soul, Aaron stormed out, gathered his belongings and disappeared before all within his family home, no portal, rift or fade. Just simply vanishing.
Tharador had moved Aaron’s soul to The University of Canos in Draksborne, where he begun the farce of instead being a wizard, teaching himself to cast spells from a book instead of using them innately as he was so familiar with. After decades of learning, he returned to Mayreth, though was driven out with torches and pitchforks: called a devil and demon. Disheartened, Aaron saw instead to enjoy the frivalties of human life, creating a magic emporium shop and joining the WEHL to uncover parts of his continent and its beasts that he had truly forgotten.
