The lands that lie beyond the borders of Guild domains are full of riches. Gold, precious stones, spices, rare bird feathers, furs... however, they are also full of dangers. Bradat Falstaff could have become just another anonymous person among the thousands of citizens of Vatenciana. However, passionate about risk and profit, he obtained his traveling merchant's license and went to explore places neglected by other merchants: the forests to the south. He has survived many dangers: terrible beasts, disease, hostile tribes. He learned several languages, befriended barbarian groups, bribed bandits, bought the camaraderie of hunters. He carries with him his staff, faithful support for the walks through the steep terrain, as well as a powerful weapon: in the face of any threat, his staff becomes a terrible mace, capable of crushing skulls and disabling limbs. He travels unescorted, always relying on his bargaining skills, the generosity of his bribes and, when all else fails, the strength of his muscles.
