One of the larger land creatures to inhabit the world. Unlike a traditional Spinosaurus, the Crystaline variant's can survive solely on a diet of rocks. They have an incredibly long life, they inhabit rocky environments where they tend to blend in. One of their predatory tricks is to lie down and curl up pretending to be a crystal formation, a formation which can entice mining opportunists much to their peril.
Their crystal spine can be of any colour, usually to match it's surroundings, however you can decipher the ones which have a more consistent meat intake as their crystals turn a shade of crimson red. Consistently they're the apex in their environment, you may sometimes happen across a corpse of one usually mined/poached to death by a large mining company.
