Whispers of the awakening of the dark goddess Mindoriel have been heard in Tharador. An evil bent on the destruction of mortals that has slumbered in a frozen rest now thaws and her sights are set on the mortals of Tharador once again. The divine of Tharador nervously stir and seek aid in mortal champions - heralds to aid them in the divine war that is to come.

Story intro:
A Divine Awakening continues from The Sightless Seer and Sunless Strassen, though can also be played independently of that module. It is the third of four modules in the Mindoriel’s Awakening Saga. The party has been transported from the warring Elven Kingdom of Leacianus with urgency to the frozen isle of Verdens. A great seer had glanced at the artifact of a Gargoyle brought to her by the party and saw the dire news it meant. Immediately they were teleported by the seer, told to seek The Tower of Verdens and give the artifact to the divine there to halt Mindoriel’s awakening as best they can. A Divine Awakening begins with the party standing in the midst of a frozen icy tundra...
