Izzy - The Grizzly
Amongst the bears, the izzy are the mightiest. Found in the Frost Lands, cold forests, and tundra, the izzy are solitary creatures and extremely difficult to befriend but very useful once accomplished. They are unfit for urban areas and will simply not enter there and wait outside. If forced, the izzy will consider it an abuse, and the bond will weaken. Amongst the companions, they are amongst the strongest and best used for fighting and protection. This companion is not meant for beginners and is better suited for experienced adventurers, especially those who spend more time in the wilderness.
Although the izzy is recommended only for seasoned adventurers, some people have used them as guardians for mi- llennia. The elves inhabiting the coldest forest befriended these bears long ago; their leaders and foremost warriors always having a izzy companion. These bears are playful when young, but it is a behavior they lose as they mature, more than with other companions. The reason behind this is called the Great Sorrow.
