Tukan - The Toucan
Found in the warmer forests and jungles, the tukan is a small bird whose colorful beak has inspired artists for years. These birds can only fly for short distances and are slow, so they prefer to hop from treetop to treetop for movement. Their plumage is black, but their bill has vivid warm colors, giving them a natural camouflage to protect them from predators. People of the jungles use the tukan as scouts or sentinels.
The tukan are a worthwhile companion for adventurers that are about to explore a jungle or a forest, always flying ahead and passing unnoticed and warning their companions of any possible danger. These birds are also known to have excellent knowledge of other jungle creatures, spending many hours observing them from the treetops.
