Korg - The Corgi
The korg originated in the hidden fairy and fey kingdoms, where they were used as mounts for these tiny folk. Most of these creatures are born without a tail, and have brown, black, and red coats with white markings. Although they are now found in more regions, the korg maintain a particular connection to the wild from their older days.
These dogs behave as if they are aware of something, constantly standing and looking as if something is afoot. Some believe they can see the fey who prefer to remain invisible amongst us, while others think that they have very acute senses and nothing more. Some elven settlements don't allow korg inside, believing that they will see things that no outsiders are meant to.
As a companion, the korg is always open for adventure, rushing towards the door and ready to head out into the wild. They don't eat much but do require constant activity.
