Pengu - The Penguin
These creatures are either black and white feathered or silver and white. The pengu inhabit the coasts of the Frost Lands and islands of the cold seas. They are very social creatures, which is why they make excellent companions. There are few recorded cases where a bond with a pengu has been broken, usually because of severe neglect by the companion. Northern fishermen, sailors, and clerics favor pengu as companions.
Ships have reported having spotted colossal colonies of pengu in the northernmost reaches of the Frost Lands. The sailors recounted how the birds huddled together, protecting their young as other adults would dive into the freezing waters, and lead fish into zones where they would be picked up one by one.
