Rybeck is one of the newest members of Fang Squadron. A spindly man from Formen, boasting a background as a Duskweave Veteran. Naive were his thoughts that mercenary work would be easy compared to his listed deployment in the Formen military against undead. The battles of The Golden Griffins were long and gruelling. Even before the Liturium War began it seemed as though every week his life was on the line against a new threat. When Rybeck was reassigned to Fang Squadron he knew that he was not long for the world, and quickly made peace with the gods. On their first mission they were assigned already Rybeck had seen his death before him.

Thus the night before he said a prayer to any divine that would hear him. The next day as his squad toppled the arcane-drawn carriage of a Leacianan general they were met with a spray of glaives. Dozens of his comrades fell beside him, though his only scar was the shattering of his sword, blade cleaved in half clean by the arcane glaives of the Leacianans. Though about a quarter of his comrades survived the encounter, he thanked his own survival to the divine above from then on, and spent many hours of his spare time devoted to prayer. It seems as though his prayers have kept him alive for the last three assignments he has had under the command of Champion Pride. Now Rybeck is uncertain if his luck will run out before his contract with the Griffins.
