The fallen empire of Draksborne, now a shell of its former self plots for its glorious return. In the space of a decade at the turn of the Second Era, the empire fell after centuries of growth and expansion; three regions declaring independence simultaneously and allying against Draksborne. Now three hundred years later an ambitious ruler plots a return to glory, weaving wicked webs across Tharador to undermine the other kingdoms of men and see Draksborne annex them one by one.
 
Story intro:
Following a raid on an insurrectionist compound in Baldur, the Baldurian government uncovered a ledger that linked the insurrectionists to receiving funding from a group known as The Darkwing out of Draksborne, a large kingdom on the opposite end of the Grey Sea.
With little other information other than the name of the organisation, Baldur’s government hires a group of freelance adventurers and agents with no assosciation to the kingdom to travel to Draksborne, uncover the key players within this organisation, its purpose and find out how far their influence reaches, including their list of contacts within Baldur.
